Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess the following academic credentials to appear for TN TET 6.
For Paper I (Primary Teachers – Classes I to V):
- Must have passed Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and completed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
- Or, Graduation with minimum 45% marks plus D.El.Ed as per NCTE norms
- Or, Higher Secondary with 50% marks along with a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
- Or, Higher Secondary with 50% marks plus a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
For Paper II (Upper Primary Teachers – Classes VI to VIII):

Age Limit
